Spark Media Project

The Motor Source Group tasked Spark Media with producing a promotional video targeted towards key workers and their families. Spark wrote the script and I produced the film.

It was an absolute blast designing this one. One of the biggest challenges was restricting line art to certain areas. This was done via a mix of frame by frame animation and trimmed path shape layers. This project was an opportunity to push my abilities and try more dynamic camera angles and smooth, seamless transitions. Note, this is the directors cut.
This project utilised a mixture of 2D cel animation, 3D and After Effects compositing. All done by myself, with the support of Sparks in-house creatives for the car compositing. The superhero animation was animated in Adobe Animate, then brought into AE. The car was done in C4D. All of the remaining character models were rigged in After Effects, using Rubberhose 2.
