For a number of weeks, we at Spark worked to develop an ad campaign for Hartwell. We had come up with the tag line 'The Real Deal' which we adapted in different ways (see below).
One of our favourite ideas was 'Harry Hartwell'. A sophisticated, anthropomorphic Stag who knows what a 'real deal' is. We took heavy inspiration from Sipsmith Gin and Compare the Meercat. Hartwell loved the idea but felt it was a little too risky for what they had planned, so the idea wasn't progressed further.
